    Getting started with GWhats

Does GWhats use the official WhatsApp API?

Yes. GWhats is Meta-approved and offers the official WhatsApp Cloud API with Embedded Signup. It also supports WhatsApp Web via QR pairing and the hybrid inbox, which combines both on the same number.

How do I connect a WhatsApp number, and can I have several?

In Inboxes, click Add, choose WhatsApp Web or Cloud and follow the wizard. Every number is its own inbox, so you can connect as many as you need in the same account.

How many agents can use the same number?

Many, with no fixed cap: it depends on your plan. Everyone works on the same official number with queues, teams, automatic assignment and a centralized history.

How do I add agents and set permissions?

In Settings, under Agents, send the invite by email and pick the role. Custom roles (RBAC) let you define exactly what each profile sees and does.

Do I need technical knowledge to set it up?

No. AI onboarding builds the workspace for your industry (labels, pipelines, automations, teams) and guided tours walk each role through the real interface. The Flow Builder is visual and code-free.

I can't find a module or feature. Why?

Modules depend on the plan or on being enabled by an account administrator, and some features depend on your access role. Ask an administrator to enable the module.

    WhatsApp: connection, sending and bans

WhatsApp shows as disconnected. What do I do?

Open the inbox and check the connection status: connected, pairing, disconnected or logged out. Reconnect from the inbox itself. On WhatsApp Web, rescan the QR or pair again by phone; on Cloud, check credentials and number status at Meta. Then send a test message.

Why did a message end up with the "failed" status?

The reason shows under the bubble, exactly as WhatsApp or the gateway returned it. Common causes: invalid template or closed 24-hour window (Cloud), media over 40 MB, media or buttons in a community (text only) and lists or flows in a group. Fix and resend; the rest of the conversation keeps working.

What's the difference between WhatsApp Cloud and WhatsApp Web when sending?

Cloud follows Meta's rules: a 24-hour window and an approved template to reopen the conversation. WhatsApp Web uses neither templates nor a window, every reply goes out as a session message, but lists and flows only render in one-to-one chats.

How do I avoid getting my number blocked?

Warm up new numbers, send only to opted-in contacts, personalize messages, control the pace and watch replies and blocks. The platform moderates outbound pace per inbox and campaigns use approved templates with variables.

Can I run bulk campaigns safely?

Yes. Campaigns use the official API with approved templates, estimate the cost per category and country before sending, respect per-contact daily limits and let you resend only the failed ones.

Does GWhats make calls over WhatsApp?

Yes. Voice and video calls over WhatsApp Web right in the browser, group calls, recordings saved to the conversation and AI auto-answer. On Cloud, the customer authorizes calls through a permission message.

    AI, automation and integrations

How does the AI answer without making things up?

Maestro works from its own knowledge base, verifies what the bot claims before sending and can run with human approval (human-in-the-loop). You set the autonomy mode per bot and track AI spend per conversation.

Can I build a chatbot without coding?

Yes. The Flow Builder is a visual flow editor with triggers, conditions, native actions, lookups and wait steps, ready for every channel. Automation rules and macros cover the rest.

Does GWhats integrate with my ERP, CRM or e-commerce?

Yes. A complete REST API, webhooks with retries, an API channel, native MCP, the n8n Community Node and integrations with Shopify, Nuvemshop, Hotmart, Kiwify, Asaas, Mercado Pago and Google Calendar.

Can I use my own AI provider?

Yes. Per-account AI tokens (BYOK) let you use your own keys and providers, with usage control and consumption limits per account.

    Payments, notifications and account

The customer paid but the charge is still pending. Now what?

Confirmation comes through the gateway webhook (Asaas or Mercado Pago), never from the success screen. Check whether the webhook arrived and the signature is valid, and confirm the state in the gateway dashboard. PIX and bank slips wait for the customer; a declined card lets you offer another method.

I'm not getting notifications. What should I check?

In Notification settings, make sure email and push are enabled for that event type. Allow browser notifications (each device registers its own subscription), check spam and the dashboard sound. The in-app bell shows everything even with push and email off.

    Is GWhats compliant with LGPD?

Yes. Role-based access, audit logs, per-channel consent, presentation mode with data masking, 2FA, SAML SSO and data-governance tools support compliance.

Can I try it before subscribing?

Yes. You get a 7-day free trial with access to the features, no credit card required. Set up, test and decide later.

Does it work for companies with several branches?

Yes. Each branch can have its own number or share a central operation with separate queues, teams and reports. Agencies and resellers can run the platform white-labeled.

Can I change the dashboard language?

Yes. The language is set on the user profile and the account has its own language and time zone. Real-time automatic translation also lets you serve customers in other languages.
